Tamara Mohammed
LPC, CCTS-I

Tamara (she/her) is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Qualified Supervisor in Florida, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the US Virgin Islands, New Mexico & Colorado, with a Masters degree in Counseling from Barry University. She has direct experience working with adults, adolescents, children & families in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric, dependency & foster care, community mental health, private practice, military family life counseling, as well as in managed care. Tamara offers clients supportive & practical feedback with compassion and understanding to look at problems in a new way. Born and raised on the island of St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands, Tamara’s life work & passion focuses on increasing access to much-needed wellness services for traditionally underserved populations through providing culturally responsive, client-centered services.

Tarik McMillan
LPC, CCTS-I

Tarik McMillan (he/him) is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the US Virgin Islands & New Mexico & a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Duquesne University & a background in Trauma-Based Counseling in residential,  inpatient & private practice settings. His passion for counseling stems from personal experiences with counselors during his adolescent years, in which he felt unable to connect and express himself freely. He made a promise to become a counselor that provides a space for clients to identify the source of their struggles & develop the tools necessary to address them appropriately. Born & raised on St. Croix, he understands the culture & stigma associated with mental health in the community. His firm belief in the transformative power of counseling fuels his drive to serve his community & break down the stigma associated with mental health.

Brittany days
Reg. Mental Health Counselor Intern

Brittany Days (she/her) is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University. She is a sun-loving Florida native. Brittany believes that all individuals should feel seen & heard, so they don’t feel alone in life; after all, we’re meant to live in community, not solitude. She understands the importance of connection & having someone to talk to in a safe space where both positive change & growth can occur in your own time. As your therapist, Brittany will support you through the use of integrative, evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, psychoeducation, & skills training. Her integrative approach depends on her clients’ unique needs & goals; therefore, a blend of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, & humanistic therapies may be utilized.  Brittany understands the importance of equity, inclusion, and cultural competence for folks in, but not limited to, BIPOC & LGBT+ communities.

Juliseea Thomas
Behavioral Health Specialist

Juliseea is an aspiring professional counselor with a BA in Psychology at St. Augustine University, and an MA in School Counseling, with plans to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has worked with children & families in various settings as a mental health technician, a Strengthening Families program facilitator, an elementary and high school volleyball coach, a suicide prevention coordinator for military families, and is also currently a Family Support Specialist II. Her latest achievement is opening Mobile Tutoring Service 340 during the pandemic to help children who needed additional help and guidance throughout the new world of online learning. Juliseea has always been passionate about counseling & understands the importance of seeking help. She hopes to help end mental health stigma in her community through her work as a Master’s Level Intern at Greater Changes.
