Tamara (she/her) is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor & Qualified Supervisor in Florida, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the US Virgin Islands, New Mexico & Colorado, with a Masters degree in Counseling from Barry University. She has direct experience working with adults, adolescents, children & families in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric, dependency & foster care, community mental health, private practice, military family life counseling, as well as in managed care. Tamara offers clients supportive & practical feedback with compassion and understanding to look at problems in a new way. Born and raised on the island of St. Croix, in the US Virgin Islands, Tamara’s life work & passion focuses on increasing access to wellness services for traditionally underserved populations through providing culturally intentional, client-centered services.

Tarik McMillan (he/him) is a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the US Virgin Islands & New Mexico & a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Duquesne University & a background in Trauma-Based Counseling in residential, inpatient & private practice settings. His passion for counseling stems from personal experiences with counselors during his adolescent years, in which he felt unable to connect and express himself freely. He made a promise to become a counselor that provides a space for clients to identify the source of their struggles & develop the tools necessary to address them appropriately. Born & raised on St. Croix, he understands the culture & stigma associated with mental health in the community. His firm belief in the transformative power of counseling fuels his drive to serve his community & break down the stigma associated with mental health.

Dr. Nour Z. Suid is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the U.S. Virgin Islands, based on the island of St. Thomas. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Special Education from the University of the Virgin Islands. Dr. Suid takes a holistic approach to mental health, her expertise extends to working with adults, adolescents, and children, providing individual, family, couple, and group therapy. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Suid is an active member of multiple professional organizations, such as the Association of Virgin Islands Psychologists and the American Psychological Association, which highlights her commitment to personal growth and a willingness to contribute to the advancement of the field of behavioral health. Dr. Suid also demonstrates an unwavering commitment to community engagement through ongoing contributions as a freelance writer for various local publications.

Dannielle Kyrillos is pursuing her graduate degree in social work (MSW), with a focus in mental health, addiction, and the family, at Tulane University. Before working toward becoming a mental health clinician, she had a long career as a storyteller and coach in media and marketing, so she is highly skilled in helping people understand, process, and reframe their life narratives. She approaches this work from a strengths perspective. She is empathic, comforting, and encouraging, using treatment modalities including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFT), emotionally focused therapy for couples (EFT), trauma-informed CBT, and motivational interviewing. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After spending most of her adult life in New York City, Dannielle now lives on St. Croix with her husband and two children.

Terry Lynch is a Registered Nurse & Health Educator who has served the St. Croix community for thirty years. As a Registered Nurse, she has been dedicated to improving Virgin Islands health care in various settings including hospitals, clinics, community outreache & home health. Her healthcare experiences include a comprehensive background in nursing/healthcare education, newborn and neonatal intensive care nursing, labor relations/employee engagement, project management (Six Sigma) & healthcare leadership. Her passion for healthcare advocacy has always been focused on creating a healthier community. Terry holds a Master of Nursing Science degree with a concentration in Health Education. Terry is also a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt (Performance Improvement) and a Crisis Prevention Instructor. Hellen Keller wrote, “alone we can do little; together we can do much”, Terry believes there are endless opportunities for success, when people, groups & communities work collectively towards building better tomorrows.
